Change display order of variables

Overview

The order in which variables are displayed can be changed

Required Role(s)

  • Project Management

Steps

  1. Open the Variable Group Update page (click here for steps)
  2. Select Variables in the left panel
  3. Change the number in the D.O. (display order) column 
    1. Enter a decimal value to move a variable between two other variables
    2. Click Refresh to reset the numbers to whole numbers
  4. Select Preview in the left panel to view the changes
  5. Select Save or Save and Return to save the changes

Notes

  • The display order will be superseded by a custom layout, if specified
  • Variables in the custom layout are displayed based on the layout, followed by variables not in the layout using the display order
