Notification Emails
Overview
Notification emails can be sent to a subject when the subject is due for an encounter.
Required Role(s)
- Subject ManagementÂ
- Subject Administration
- Project ManagementÂ
Setup
- Notification attribute is enabled in the Portal
- Portal Options in the interval allows subjects to create the encounter and the Send Due Notifications is enabled
- Subject's Account Update page has Receive Encounter Due Notifications enabled
Notification emails are sent to subjects as follows:
- The first notification email is sent at the encounter's Begin Date
- The second notification email is sent at the encounter's Target Date
Emails are only sent when the following conditions are met:
- The portal attribute is turned on to send out notifications
- The interval is noted for subjects to receive a notification
- The interval is noted that subjects can create the encounter
- The encounter has not occurred
The subject's account settings are checked for Receive Encounter Due Notifications
- An email address is specified for the subject on their Account Update page
