Extend or reduce the time a subject can access an encounter

Overview

One criteria that determines if an encounter is available in a subject’s portal is the Subject can edit until date in a created encounter. That date will only be in encounters that have subject entered forms and have Specify selected for the Subject can edit this encounter in the portal options.

Steps

1. Open the Subject Overview page

2. Open the encounter

3. The date in the Subject can edit until field indicates how long a subject can edit the encounter and is based on the date the encounter was created and the setting in the interval’s portal options

4. Enter a new date in the Override Last Edit Date field

   1. The date must be in the future

   2. The date is only applicable for this encounter and subject
