Copy Variables (Variable Group Update)

Overview

The Copy Variables tab is used to copy variables from other variable groups into the existing variable group.

Content

  • Project:  the name of the project to copy variables from
  • Find:  the name of the variable group to copy variables from
  • Keyword:  text to search on
  • Match ANY search terms:  check this box to match any of the search terms specified

Leaving the box unchecked will return variables that match all of the terms specified

Actions

  1. Select the Project to copy variables from
  2. Optional:  select a variable group name in the Find list
  3. Optional: enter keyword(s) to search on
  4. Optional: check the box for Match ANY search terms 
  5. Click Go
  6. The variables that match the Project, Find, and Keywords specified will be displayed
  7. Click the green +  next to the variable to copy
