Medication Management Role
Role Introduction:
Responsibilities:
Maintain central list of medications used across studies. Add new medications (e.g., trade and generic name, route of adminstration, units of measurement, etc.) and classes as needed.
Typical User:
Often a technical staff for bulk uploads of medications and an M.D. for adding individual new medications. Individuals given this role should ensure the central medication list stays accurate and does not contain duplicate medications.
Where Assigned:
Initially from System Administration, subsequently granted to others from with the System Setup area
