Subject Medication Update

Overview

The  Medication Update page is used to enter, edit or view additional details about a subject's medication.

Content

• Medication:  used to select a medication from the central list

  • Medications can be added to the central list by users with a Medication Management role
  • The medication list is only available when adding a new medication, when editing an existing medication the name can't be modified
• Begin Date:  the date the subject started using the medication
  • Required value
  • Must be a valid date
• End Date:  as applicable, the date the subject stopped using the medication
  • A value is not required in this field
  • Must be a valid date

• Dose:  the dosage the subject is taking

  • The dosage unit is displayed in parenthesis
  • Required value
  • Must be > 0
• # / Day:  the number of times per day the subject takes the medication
  
  • Required value
  • Must be > 0
• Administration Route: the method the subject uses to take the medication
• Indication:  a text field for the medications' indication, up to 250 characters can be entered
• Notes:  a text field for any additional notes, up to 500 characters can be entered
