Attributes (Randomization)

Overview

The Attributes tab of the Randomization page specifies the configuration settings for the randomization.  Reference the Randomization Configuration page for more details.

Content

• Blinding Method
  • None:  displays the randomized Treatment Name on the Subject Overview page
  • Double:  displays the Display Name on the Subject Overview page
  • Double with Randomization ID:  displays the Randomization ID on the Subject Overview page

• Randomization ID Format

  • Only applicable with a Double with Randomization ID blinding method

• Template Prefix List (optional)
  • Only applicable with a Double with Randomization ID blinding method

  • If a Template Prefix List is specified, use the Prefix tag in the Randomization ID to denote where in the ID the prefix should be placed

  • The prefix list will be sequentially used in the Randomization ID
• Random Number Seed (optional)
• Randomization Method
  • Simple
  • Permuted Block

• Block Size(s)

  • Only applicable with a Permuted Block randomization method

• Site Specific randomization

  • Only applicable with a Permuted Block randomization method
