Overview

The Stratification Factors tab of the Randomization page displays the variables used to separate data into subgroups in permuted block randomization.

Content

The Stratification Factors tab is only displayed if the randomization method is Permuted block and screening is enabled in the project configuration

  • A list of variables used as stratification factors in the randomization

 

Only categorical variables can be used as stratification factors, continuous variables that are part of the stratification will need to be converted to categorical

Actions

Remove a stratification factor by clicking on the delete icon 
 

Only available if subjects have not been randomized

 

Add a stratification factor through the Variable Finder tab

Only categorical universal or project variables can be used as stratification variables
