Pre-install Checklist

Verify System Requirements

• Verify your hardware and software meet the System Requirements.

Install Software Prerequisites

• Install IIS 7
• Install .Net Framework v4.5
• Install SQL Server 2008 or 2012 (Web Edition or better)

Prepare IIS

• Ensure that ASP.NET is installed
• If installing version 3.0.0103 on IIS 7, be sure to install the IIS 6 Metabase

Determine the following:

• Administrator account for the web server
• DBO account for the database server
• Connection string to the database
• SMTP server along with any required credentials
• DNS name of the web server.  Recommended: studytrax.organizationName.org/edu/com
