How to change the variable name displayed

Overview

When a variable is added to a data view, the Variable Name is displayed in the table. That name can be modified for that data view.

Actions

  • From the Design tab of the Data View Update page, add the variable to the data view

  • Click on the variable name in the right panel

  • In the Row Update window, the Variable name as defined in the data definition is displayed, enter a different name in the Name field

  • Click Continue

  • Select Preview to view the data view

  • Select Save and Return or Save to save the changes
