Overview
The Data Sets tab of the Workspace page lists all the data sets in the Workspace and allows new Workspace Data Sets to be created.
Content
- Data Set Name:Â The name of the data set
- Project Name:Â The name of the project used in the data setÂ

If any encounter variables are included in the data set be sure to include "Interval (Categorical)" from the Encounter System Variables as encounter variables must be grouped by their interval in the Data View

Considerations
- Minimize the number of data sets used and the number of variables in each data set
- Transform variables as needed for planned Tables and Charts (e.g., recoded variables, calculated variables)
- Create filters as needed for specific Tables
- Utilize "Output Intervals" to consolidate encounters
- Most common - First and Last visit only
- Limit the encounters included in data to only those needed
