Overview

 This page describes how to create a new project in StudyTRAXStudytrax.

Required Role(s)

Steps

  1. Select Projects in the main menu
  2. Click on the Add iconthe New button in the toolbar
  3. Complete the Attributes tab
  4. Enter the project name
  5. Leave the In Production box unchecked

    Complete the Custom Attributes tab

    The

    project should be put in production mode after pilot testing has been completed and all test subjects removed from the project
  6. Enter the License Key provided by ScienceTRAX Support
    Info

    The License Key determines the maximum number of subjects that can be added to a project.  In a project with screening it includes screen failures and does not limit the number of subjects that can be enrolled

  7. Max Enrollment:  Enter a value if you are screening and there is a maximum number of subjects that can be enrolled into the project

    The value cannot exceed the subjects allowed based on the license key

  8. Sites
  9. Select the Sites that are part of the project

    Add additional sites through System Setup

  10. If applicable, add a maximum enrollment for each site InfoThe Max Enrollment across all sites cannot exceed the Max Enrollment specified for the project

    variables on the Custom Attributes tab are defined in System Setup


  11. Complete the Identifying Subjects tab
  12. Mark the project features on the Features tab
  13. Optionally enter any global code on the Global Code tab
  14. Select Save and Return
  15. Set up forms on the Variable Groups tab
  16. Set up the data collection schedule on the Intervals tab
  17. As needed, create subject reports on the Report Templates tab
  18. Assign users to roles on the Users tab
