Set Portal Options for the Interval

Overview

Portal options are set for an interval if there are any subject entered forms in that interval. The Variable Groups tab of the Interval Update page must have at least one variable group checked as Subject Accessible to enter portal options.

Steps

  1. Open the Interval Update page for the interval (click here for steps)

  2. Select Portal Options in the left panel

  3. If all the options aren’t displayed, there aren’t any variable groups selected as Subject Accessible on the Variable Groups tab

  4. Select the options for view, create, and edit (click here for additional information on these options)

  5. In the create section, check the box for Send Due Notification to send subjects a notification when an encounter is due

  6. Optionally, enter instructions that will display for this encounter in the subject portal

  7. Click Save or Save and Return
