Set a variable group for data entry in a subject portal

Overview

In projects with a subject portal where subjects log in to enter data, variable groups are noted as being subject entered.

Steps

1. Open the Interval Update page for the interval (click here for steps)
2. Select Variable Groups in the left panel
3. Check the box in the Subject Accessible column for variable groups that will be entered by subjects in their portal

Notes

• Variable Groups marked as Subject Accessible are also available to view or enter data by users
• There must be a subject portal for subjects to be able to log in and enter data
• If there is at least one variable group marked as Subject Accessible then Portal Options must be defined for the interval
