Overview

The Quick Search section is used to enter a Reference ID, Project ID or Username(Patient Portals Only) to navigate to the Subject Overview page

 Content

 The Quick Search section contains fields to enter a Reference ID, Project ID or Username to search for.  Only exact matches will be returned unless a wildcard (*) is used.

Actions

  • Reference ID search: 

    • Enter a subject's complete Reference ID and click Go to navigate to the Subject Overview page for the project selected in the Project selector box of the toolbar

      If the subject is not enrolled in the project, an Enroll Subject or Screen Subject button will be displayed

    • The Reference ID must be an exact match or an * can be used as a wildcard to search (e.g. 100* will return all subjects whose Reference ID begins with 100)
    • If a wildcard is used and there are more than one matches, all subjects that meet the criteria will be displayed
    • If only one subject matches the criteria, StudyTRAX will navigate to that subject's Subject Overview page
  • Project ID search:

    • Enter a subject's complete Project ID and click Go to navigate to the Subject Overview page for the project selected in the Project selector box of the toolbar

      If the subject is not enrolled in the project, an Enroll Subject or Screen Subject button will be displayed

    • The Project ID must be an exact match or an * can be used as a wildcard to search (e.g. 100* will return all subjects whose Project ID begins with 100)
    • If a wildcard is used and there are more than one matches, all subjects that meet the criteria will be displayed
    • If only one subject matches the criteria, StudyTRAX will navigate to that subject's Subject Overview page
  • Username search:

    • For Patient Portal enabled projects only, enter a subject's complete Username and click Go to navigate to the Subject Overview page for the project selected in the Project selector box of the toolbar

      If the subject is enrolled in the project with a username, an exact search of the username (NOT case sensitive) must be selected to return a result.

    • The Username must be an exact match. A wildcard search will NOT return results
