Bulk Data Tools

Overview

The Bulk Data Tools tab of the Data Management page allows data to be removed in bulk and resetting of sequence numbers used in generating Project ID's and Randomization ID's. 
 

Actions

Remove All Subjects

• Delete all subjects from the system if they are enrolled only in this project:  Checking this box and then clicking on Run will remove all the subjects from the project, clear out the Audit Log, and delete the subjects from StudyTRAX that are not enrolled in another project.

• Reset the sequence numbers used in generating Project Id and Randomization Id (if applicable):  Checking this box and then clicking on Run will reset the sequencing so that subsequent subjects start with 1.  

  All subjects must be removed from the project before or at the same time as resetting the sequence numbers is selected.  This is especially important in projects with permuted block randomization

• Remove all subjects from the project by selecting the Run button

  Check the appropriate box before clicking on Run

Export Importable Subject Data

This section contains a link to export all subject data in the project.  Clicking the link will export an Excel file in the same format as required to import data.  All subject and project values are on a worksheet named Subject and each encounter's data is on a worksheet named with the interval.

Export Subject Medications

This sections contains a link to export all medications taken by subjects in the project.  Clicking the link will export an Excel file with subject medication data.

Assign Project IDs 

• Assign Project ID's to subjects without a Project ID by clicking on Run
