Overview 

The Dashboard tab contains the Timeline and the Data Collection Summary.   Timeline view has a tabular display of study visits/encounters and includes various display options and filters.

Content 

The Timeline

The timeline View contains all the data collection schedule of all fixed encounters (completed and not completed encounters), and contains the completed non-fixed encounters that have occurred.  The timeline encounter is color coded to show the encounter's status.  The Timeline settings can be used to customize the display.  Encounters that have occurred are accessed by clicking on the date.  Encounters that have not occurred are accessed/entered by clicking on create.

  • Top row is the interval name
  • Date: the encounter date
    • A date is displayed only if the encounter has occurred
    Encounters due
    • The encounter date will default to the date the encounter was started but can be modified
    • Encounters that haven't occurred but can be created will display create
  • Status
    • Due (orange)encounters are Due within the
    Earliest
    • Before and
    Latest
    • After date
    Encounters missed
    • Missed (pink):
      encounters
    •  encounters are Missed when the Latest date is passed and the encounter has not occurred

  • Interval:  The interval name
  • Actual:  The encounter date, a date is displayed only if the encounter has occurred, it will default to the date the encounter was started but can be modified

    • Project column:  listing of project reports that will contain the subject's data
    • Interval columns:  listing of encounter specific reports with subject's data
  • Before:  The projected date minus the Before Target Range specified in the interval
  • Target:  Calculated by the Target Length specified in the interval and the actual Baseline encounter date.  It is the Baseline encounter date plus the Target Length
  • EarliestAfter:  The projected date minus plus the Before After Target Range specified in the interval
  • Latest:  The projected date plus the After Target Range specified in the interval
     
Data Collection Summary

The data collection summary displays a matrix of the subject & project variable groups and the completed encounters in each column with the variable groups collected at each point.  The matrix is color-coded to indicate the status of each variable group.

Actions 

  • Customize the display through the timeline settings
  • Enter new fixed encounters by clicking on create under the encounter interval name in the Timeline
  • Edit existing encounters by clicking on the encounter name in the TimelineNon-fixed encounters are entered on the Encounters tab. date under the interval name
  • Enter a non-fixed encounter through the sidebar or on the Encounters tab of the Details view
  • View a subject report by clicking on the report name
  • Change paging preferences by clicking on the gear to open Paging Options
