- Assign/un-assign universal subject variables to the project by clicking on the Assign icon
- Create a new variable group by clicking on the Add icon
- Edit an existing variable group by clicking on the variable group name
- Edit all the Project or Encounter variable groups at once (e.g., to change their display order) by clicking on the Edit icon
- Import a variable group (from an XML file or from another project) by clicking on the Import icon
- Export all the Project Variable Groups or Encounter Variable Groups by clicking on the Export icon
- Find the usages of a variable group by clicking the Find Usages icon
- Export a variable group by clicking on the Export icon next to the variable group name
- Copy a variable group by clicking on the Copy icon next to the variable group name
- Delete a variable group by clicking on the Delete icon next to the variable group name
Tip A gray delete icon
indicates the variable group cannot be deleted as it is in use, click on the Find Usages icon to see where the variable group is being used
