Overview


The Subject Search tab allows searching for subjects using a filter.

Content

  • The Filter panel is used to enter search criteria
  • The Subjects panel will display all subjects that match the criteria entered in the Filter panel

Actions

  • Enter search criteria in the Filter panel
    • The search is based on the project selected in the toolbar
    • The Subjects with drop down can be used to filter by the following criteria
      • all subjects (default)
      • due encounters
      • incomplete data
      • unknown completion status
      • unknown or incomplete data
    • Criteria entered in the Reference ID, Project ID, First Name, or Last Name fields will return subjects that begin with the entered values (for example, if Sal is entered in the First Name field, all subjects whose first name begins with Sal will be listed)
    • (3) Using the Advanced Link, the Sites drop down can be used to select a specific site.  The Enrollment Date Range Filter will match the date a subject was enrolled in the project. 

      The Subject Search Parameters area will only be visible when one or more variables have the Subject Search Parameter selected in the Variable Update Options Window.

      This option is only available in projects that are configured to show the Screening and Enrollment Date

    • If criteria is entered in more than one field, only subjects that match all the criteria will be displayed
  • The Subjects panel will display all subjects that match the criteria entered in the Filter panel
    • If no criteria is entered in the Filter panel, clicking on Search will display all subjects in the selected project to which the user has access
    • Click on the Clear Search Results icon to clear the search results
  • Add a new subject
    • Either click on New Subject in the toolbar or the Add icon
