If there are Encounters:
Subjects can only be deleted from StudyTRAX if they are not enrolled in any projects. A user with a Subject Management role can delete a subject that is not enrolled in any project.
If the subject is entered in StudyTRAX but not assigned to a project:
- Go to the Subject Overview page for the subject
- Select the Delete Subject button on the toolbar
- If the Delete Subject button is not enabled that indicates the subject is enrolled in at least one project and cannot be deleted
- If the subject is assigned to a project (in-screening or enrolled) but does not have any encounters entered, select the Un-enroll or Un-screen icon
If the subject is enrolled in at least one project the Delete Subject button will be disabled and the subject cannot be deleted. A user with a Project Management role must first remove the subject from every project (see Remove a Subject from a Project)
