Overview

The Show Actions Menu checkbox  is used to show/hide the Actions menu for each variable as data is entered.

Content

On data entry pages, there is a Show Actions Menu in the left panel just above the Table of Contents.

When the Show Actions Menu is checked, there is an Actions menu that follows as data is entered.

  1. Clear Answer:  When selected the data for the variable is cleared.  This is needed for radio button variables.  It can also be used to clear other variable types, however, they can be cleared by using the keyboard (e.g. delete key)\
  2. History:  When selected a dialog box displays with the variable history (audit log) and the variable's configuration parameters.
