Workbench Report Requirements

Overview:

Before starting to create a workbench report, it is helpful to think through the requirements.  This page will list some of the items that will be helpful to obtain from the study setup.

Required Items:

  • Variable Code
  • Encounters in which the variable is collected
  • Grouping (e.g. by sex, site, treatment arm)
  • Aggregation Method
    • Count
    • Count and Percent
    • Kurtosis
    • Max
    • Mean
    • Mean and Standard Deviation
    • Median
    • Min
    • Percent
    • Skewness
    • Standard Deviation
    • Sum Variance
  • If a calculation using several variables is needed:
    • Variable codes of each variable
    • Variable values of each variable to be included in the calculation
    • Encounter(s) in which each variable's value should come from
