Overview
Double data entry in a project allows a selected list of encounter variables or a selected group of subjects to be double data entered.

Steps
- Enable the Double Data Entry feature
- From the Project Overview page, select Edit Project to navigate to the Project Update page
- Select the Features tab
- Check the box for Double Data Entry
- Select Save and Return
- Select the variables to be double data entered
- From the Variable Group Update page, select the Attributes tab
- Check the box for Allow Double Data Entry
- Mark the variables that will be double data entered on the selected variable group
- If all variables on the variable group will be double data entered, click on Flag all variables for double data entry
- If a subset of variables on the variable group will be double data entered:
- Select the Variables tab
- Click on a variable name to be double data entered to open the Variable Update page
- Check the box for Allow Double Data Entry
- Click on Continue
- Save the changes
- Add the double data entry role to the users
- From the Project Overview page, select the Users tab
- Click on the username of the user to be given the double data entry role
- Check the box for the following role: Subject Management - Secondary (Double Data Entry)
- Select Save and Return
- Select the subjects to be double data entered
- Subjects enrolled prior to adding the double data entry feature will not be automatically set for double data entry
- Subjects enrolled after adding the double data entry feature will default to have Double Data Entry enabled
- To change a subject's double data entry status:
- From the Subject Overview page, select the Edit Subject toolbar button
- Check / un-check the box for Allow Double Data Entry
- Click the Save and Return toolbar button
