Overview
The Identifying Subjects tab of the Project Update page is used to determine which subject identifications will be used (Subject Name, Project ID) and which will be exportable (Reference ID, Subject Name, Project ID).
All subjects must have a Reference ID that is unique across all projects
Content
This page contains the methods of identification of a subject in the project. A Project ID can be manually entered or automatically generated by specifying the format of the Project ID.
Actions
- Determine the method of identifying subjects in the project by marking the applicable checkboxes.
- Enter a template for the Project ID if the ID will be automatically generated
- To allow users to edit the automatically generated Project ID check the box for Allow Editing
- To sequence the value by site check the box for Sequence By Site
- In a mulit-site study, marking the checkbox for Sequence By Site will increment the ID based on the site (for example: PI-Site1-0001, PI-Site1-0002, PI-Site2-0001, etc.)
- In a multi-site study, not marking the checkbox for Sequency By Site will increment the ID without taking into account the site (for example: PI-Site1-0001, PI-Site1-0002, PI-Site2-0003)
