Overview
The Notification Email Template tab of the Project Update page contains the email template that will Notification emails can be sent to a subject when the subject is due for an encounter and has an email specified.

Clicking on the icon will display the Email Tags that can be used in the email template. The tags will be substituted with the actual values when the email is sent to the subject.

Required Role(s)
- Subject Management
- Subject Administration
- Project Management
Setup
- Notification attribute is enabled in the Portal
- Portal Options in the interval allows subjects to create the encounter and the Send Due Notifications is enabled
- Subject's Account Update page has Receive Encounter Due Notifications enabled
Notification emails are sent to subjects as follows:
- The first notification email is sent at the encounter's Earliest Begin Date
- The second notification email is sent at the encounter's Projected Target Date
Emails are only sent when the following conditions are met:
- The portal attribute is turned on to send out notifications
- The interval is noted for subjects to receive a notification
- The interval is noted that subjects can create the encounter
- The encounter has not occurred
The subject's account settings are checked for Receive Encounter Due
Notifications Subject's can disable notifications to their email if the project feature for Allow DisableTip Notifications
is checked- An email address is specified for the subject in on their Account Settings
Info You will not be able to save a subject's Account Settings with no email address specified and the Receive Encounter Due Notifications box checked
