Verify System Requirements
- Verify your hardware and software meet the System Requirements.
Install Software Prerequisites
- Install IIS 6/ 7 (7 is recommended)
- Install .Net Framework v3v4.5
- Install SQL Server 2005/ 2008 (2008 is recommendedor 2012 (Web Edition or better)
Prepare IIS
- Ensure that ASP.NET is installed
- If installing version 3.0.0103 on IIS 7, be sure to install the IIS 6 Metabase
Determine

the following:
- Administrator account for the web server
- DBO account for the database server
- Connection string to the database
- SMTP server along with any required credentials
- DNS name of the web server. Recommended: studytrax.organizationName.org/edu/com

- Disk location to place the web application (default is c:\inetpub\wwwroot\StudyTrax)
- Disk location of log files (default is c:\StudyTraxLogs)
- A service account to run the StudyTRAX application under (if database and web application are on the same machine, we can use Network Service)
