Install Software Prerequisites
- Install IIS 6/7 (7 is recommended)
- Install .Net Framework v3.5
- Install SQL Server 2005/2008 (2008 is recommended)
Prepare IIS
- Ensure that ASP.NET is installed
- If installing version 3.0.0103 on IIS 7, be sure to install the IIS 6 Metabase
Determine Required Administrator Accounts
- Administrator account for the web server
- DBO account for the database server
- Connection string to the database
- SMTP server along with any required credentials
- DNS name of the web server. Recommended: studytrax.organizationName.org/edu/com
