Change variable name, code, data entry prompt, or suffix

Overview

The variable's name, code, data entry prompt, and answer suffix can be modified without affecting any data entered.

Required Role(s)

  • Project Management

Steps

  1. Open the Variable Update window (click here for steps)
  2. On the Attributes tab, change the text in the Name, Data Entry Prompt, Answer Suffix, or Code fields
  3. Select Continue
  4. Select Save or Save and Return to save the changes
