UI Change - Subject Overview page

Screen Layout

Dashboard View

  • Toolbar - Contains functions that can be performed, view settings and search.
  • Sidebar - Visibility set by first button in toolbar.  Contains buttons to (as applicable):
    • Change projects
    • Administrative Management (e.g., subject accounts)
    • Randomize / Screen / Enroll subjects
    • Add Medications / Tasks / Queries
    • Create study intervals (e.g., baseline)
  • Dashboard View: One of three different views, graphical display of study events and medication use.  Other views are:
    • Timeline View
    •  
    • Details View

Toolbar Items

  • Sidebar - Opens a side menu where users can:
    • Change Projects.
    • Perform actions (e.g., create new encounter, task, etc.).
    • Manage Subject Account (e.g., login settings, change password, upload picture).
  • New Subject - Add a new subject to Studytrax (i.e., for current or other project) .
  • Edit Subject - Edit a subject's Project Variables (e.g., Site, IDs, demographics, etc.).
  • Subject Search - Use reference ID, Project ID, or name to search for subject within or across projects.
  • Views - Selects one of three different views:
    • Dashboard - Visual display of study visits and medication usage.
    • Timeline -Tabular display of study visits, various display options.
    • Details - List of all entities (e.g., encounters, tasks, medications, queries, emails, etc.).
  • General Search -  Search for items within the given subject (e.g., baseline encounter).

Timeline Icon Descriptions

  • Show / Hide Rows - This turns off/on the interval target range display.
  • Sidebar - toggles showing the side panel or not.
  • Zoom & Re-Size - Re-size table view.
  • Display Filter Settings - Selects which intervals to show.
  • Sort Order- Selects the interval sort order.
  • Number To Display Settings -  Sets the number of items to display (applies to all lists).

Queries

Fields:

  • Variable Group - Name of the form associated with the query  
  • Variable - Name of the variable associated with the query
  • Variable value - Value of the variable
  • Type -  
    • Out of Range
    • Missing
    • Other
  • Description - Text description of the query
  • Status:
    • Unresolved - The query is unresolved
    • Resolved - The query has been resolved, ready to be reviewed for closure 
    • Closed - The query is no longer open, review is closed
  • Notes - Time stamped notes, can have multiple per query 
  • Linked Fields - Automatically attached 
    • Project (study)
    • Encounter
    • Subject ID(s)
    • Site 

Dual Axis Graphs

Subject Report graphs may contain a secondary y-axis.  Use the Right / Left Axis tabs to indicate which variables are assigned to each axis.

 


  • Notable New Features
    • Built in Queries
    • Provide means of displaying missing values in subject reports.
    • New syntax for scripts in subject reports
    • Subject Overview page rewritten to include more functionality and updated look and feel.
  • Data Sets
    • Bug: Exception is thrown when a filter is copied
    • Bug: Exporting a data set to SAS does not include missing values by default
  • Projects
    • Bug: Subject Medication export fails when subject does not have Project ID
  • Subject Reports
    • For JS errors, display line number of error from original template
    • Use native data types for evaluation of numeric calculation variables so results are consistent with data entry
  • Subject Overview
    • Bug: Welcome email sent when subject with account is added to project with no portals
    • Subject search across all projects does not show subjects in project / sites user does not have access to
