Medication Update

Overview

The Medication Update page is used to enter and edit medications in the central list.  These medications are available to any project with Medication as an enabled feature.

Content

• Attributes tab
  • Trade Name
    • If adding a generic medication, enter the generic name in the trade name field as well as the generic name field
  • Generic Name
  • Description (optional)
  • Code:  must be unique and cannot start with a numeric character
  • Unit of Measure:  select from the drop-down list
• Medication Classes tab:  lists any medication classes the medication has been assigned to

Actions

• Enter or modify any medication attributes on the Attributes tab
• Delete a medication class from the medication by clicking on the delete icon
• Add a medication class to the medication by clicking on the add icon  and selecting a medication class
