- Click the Projects main menu item
- Click on the project name
- Click the Edit Project toolbar button
- Select the Identifying Subjects tab in the left panel
- For each identifier select the Include and/or Exportable checkbox
A Reference ID must be assigned to each subject thus there is no checkbox in the Include column for Reference ID |
Identifiers that are Exportable are available to select and export in a data set |
- Specify the Project ID Generation if a Project ID is included and it is to be generated by StudyTRAX
- To have StudyTRAX generate the Project ID enter a template
- The SiteCode tag will add the subject's site code into the Project ID
- The Seq tag determines the number of digits in the numerical portion of the Project ID that is sequenced for each new subject
- Static text can be included anywhere within the Template
- To allow users to manually edit the automatically generated Project ID, the Allow Editing box must be checked
- To sequence the Project ID independently for each site, the Sequence By Site box must be checked
- In a mulit-site study, marking the checkbox for Sequence By Site will increment the ID based on the site (for example: PI-Site1-0001, PI-Site1-0002, PI-Site2-0001, etc.)
- In a multi-site study, not marking the checkbox for Sequency By Site will increment the ID without taking into account the site (for example: PI-Site1-0001, PI-Site1-0002, PI-Site2-0003)
If the Sequence By Site box is checked, the Template must include the Site Code tag |
