When administrative details are needed for multiple sites in a study, custom site-specific data collection variables are utilized within a supplemental project. This project runs along side the main study as a way to track these administrative characteristics.
Supplemental Project Description:
The supplemental project is commonly developed as a subject data entry mechanism, but the subject(s) enrolled are actually the site names. This enables a common repository for study staff from each site(s) to enter administrative information. Because this supplemental project is disparate from the main study, identifiable subject information is not shared.

Common Reporting Examples:
Generally speaking, the reports designed within the supplemental project are centered around task tracking of site-specific details. Study Staff licensing information, contact information and site-specific IRB submission status updates are just a few examples. These reports can be generated across sites as a means to update the Main Site Coordinator of task progress.
