Overview

Al subjects in StudyTRAX must have a Reference ID that is unique across all projects.  Optionally, subject names and a Project ID can be used.  A Project ID must be unique within a project.

Steps

1. Click the Projects main menu item
2. Click on the project name
3. Click the Edit Project toolbar button
4. Select the Identifying Subjects tab in the left panel
5. For each identifier select the Include and/or Exportable checkbox

   A Reference ID must be assigned to each subject thus there is no checkbox in the Include column for Reference ID

   
   

   Tip
   Identifiers that are Exportable are available to select and export in a data set

6.  Specify the Project ID Generation if a Project ID is included
   1. To have StudyTRAX generate the Project ID enter a template 
   2. To allow users to manually edit the automatically generated Project ID, the Allow Editing box must be checked
   3. To sequence the Project ID independently for eachsite, the Sequence By Site box must be checked

      If the Sequence By Site box is checked, the Template must include the Site Code tag
