- The default when Variable Finder is initially opened is to display all applicable variables
- Depending on the user's preferences and number of variables, the list may contain multiple pages
- Searching with the Find box
- Select a variable group from the Find drop-down list to display only variables from the selected variable group
- Enter a search term in the Keyword box and click on Go to search by the keyword entered
- The keyword will search based on the selection in the Find list
- If multiple keywords are entered, the search will return variables that match all keywords entered
- If multiple keywords are entered and the Match ANY search terms box is checked, the search will return variables that match any of the keywords entered

- In Data Set Calculated Variables and in Filters there is a column labeled Interval, click here for more informationa description of the Interval column
- To select all the variables returned from the search (includes variables on all pages), click on the All Results
- To select one variable at a time from the variables listed, click on the next to the applicable variable

- Click on the Unassign icon
Info Variables with a disabled unassign icon are being used and cannot be removed
Tip Click on the Find Usages icon to see where the variable is being used
