Numeric

Invalid Symbols: %, for data type Numeric

% is not applicable/valid for an aggregation method of a numeric variable. Remove % from the Template.

Categorical (Pick List, Radio Button)

Invalid Symbols: %, for data type PickList

% is valid for a categorical variable, however, a default custom attribute needs to be modified. Add the variable without using %, then modify the custom attributes. On the Row Update page, select the box for Group By Category and add % to the Template.

Any variable type

Invalid format when using a colon ( : ) in the Template field

To customize the numeric display, place a colon immediately after the aggregation method and follow the colon with the numeric customization. Remove any spaces.

To use a colon in the numeric display instead of to designate digit display, place a backslash (\) before the colon to escape it. For example “M\: kg” will display as “80: kg”
