How to count responses for a categorical variable

Overview

The Group By Category option can be unchecked to give the number of responses for the categorical variable.

Actions

1. Open the Design tab on the Data View Update page

2. Select a categorical variable in the first drop down under Rows

3. Select Count - n for the aggregation method

4. Click Add

5. Click on the variable name for the variable added to the data view

6. Uncheck the box for Group By Category

7. Click Continue
