Safari iPad users

iPad Best Operating Suggestions

While Studytrax is functional for the latest Mac OS(Desktop) using the Safari browser, it is suggested to use the Firefox browser while operating in the Mac OS(Desktop) environment.  The iPad OS uses a mobile version of the Safari browser.  The following items are provided to enhance the user experience while using the iPad as a means to run Studytrax.

Radio Buttons

If your forms contain radio-button items, using images for each choice will make data entry easier (see image).

Use a Stylus or wand

Depending on your form layout, you may want to plan on using a stylus or wand to help make data entry easier.

View Data Sets:

Download the Quickoffice App from the app store.  When exporting a Dataset in Excel format, This App will enable visibility, as well as further export to the following cloud-based accounts:

  • Google Docs
  • Dropbox
  • Box
  • SugarSync
  • Mobileme
View Reports: (Reports Main Menu Item)

Reports such as Data Completion and Follow Up Status can be viewed using Safari-for-iPad.  A .pdf file will open in another window, once the reports are executed.  Further export to a cloud-based account can be accomplished using the Quickoffice App.
